We are made up of imperfect people with every kind of story imaginable and, simply stated, we’re all about Jesus. If it is your first time visiting us, then we sincerely welcome you to our church and would love to connect with you.
Some people think freedom is about doing whatever you want. The Bible says real freedom is finally becoming the person God created you to be.
Most of us know what it’s like to carry things we were never meant to carry. Guilt that won’t let go. Shame from yesterday. Anger that keeps boiling over. Fear about tomorrow. Family baggage. Bad habits. Wounds nobody else can see. We smile on Sunday, go to work on Monday, and keep dragging around chains that Jesus already paid to break.
I Want to Break Free— is a six-week journey toward the life Jesus promised: “If the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.”
This isn’t about pretending you’ve got it all together. It’s about getting honest enough to let God change you from the inside out.
When you give to AFA you are not giving TO the church, you are giving THROUGH the church. We are about so much more than keeping the lights on and paying a mortgage. Our heart is to impact the community around us for the Kingdom of God. So, when you give to AFA, you can know that you are a part of something bigger – a part of advancing the Kingdom of God.
What our church family does through obedient financial giving will outlast our own lives because that’show the Gospel of Jesus works. We are people that bring HOPE. Our financial giving is organized in two distinct ways: through God’s tithe and through our giving to the Hope Fund.
The Hope Fund is the way we reach out with the Gospel of Jesus in our community and across the world. It is the story we tell when someone asks, “What is the vision or mission of AFA?” Simply, it is this: every person is an image bearer of the most high God and we want to celebrate that fact.
