This is exactly how the news spread about the first church. People couldn’t get enough of it. The birth of the church attracted all the right people— and all the wrong people. Ok, mostly the wrong people. There was no shortage of bizarre, but also an incredible connection among them all. After all, God is still doing mind-blowing things when we get out of His way. One of the after effects of the viral church was conflict, persecution, division and confusion. We’ll take a look at these effects of the church and see how we can apply scripture’s stories in real life today.
