Growing Together in Faith, Learning, and Community Camp AFA is a ministry of Albemarle First Assembly dedicated to partnering with families by providing safe, nurturing, Jesus-centered programs where children can learn, grow, and thrive. Through meaningful experiences, caring relationships, and age-appropriate opportunities for learning and development, we seek to support children and families through the different stages of life.

As families grow and their needs change, we’re excited to find new ways to serve them through Camp AFA.

Camp AFA Preschool

Little Learners. Big Beginnings.

Camp AFA Preschool provides a loving, Jesus-centered learning environment where children ages 2–4 are encouraged to explore, discover, and grow. Following a traditional school-year calendar, our Preschool program operates September through May, with annual enrollment and tuition for the nine-month school year.

From early exploration in PS2 to play-based learning in PS3 and kindergarten readiness in PS4, each classroom offers intentional learning experiences designed to build confidence, independence, and a love for learning.

Mother’s Morning Out

A Little Time for You. A Lot of Fun for Them!

Our flexible, play-based Mother’s Morning Out program is designed with our youngest learners in mind, primarily ages 1–3, while welcoming children throughout the preschool years. Unlike a traditional school-year program, MMO gives families the flexibility to choose when and how often their child attends, without a long-term attendance commitment.
