And God said, “Let there be light.” And we’ve taken him seriously: our houses, businesses (and even churches) have strung out their bright Christmas lights. At the end of each day, we’ll have bright lights to light up the dark.
We can be reminded that the light overcomes the dark and that from the very beginning, God spoke light into our world. The coming of Jesus (Advent) brings that light of hope and peace, joy and love— and we share it with everyone, not holding back. Merry Christmas!
