These signs weren’t just displays of extraordinary power; they were glimpses, provocations, of God’s divine character. They show us a God whose imagination is not stunted by our circumstances, but who is at work in the seemingly ordinary, everyday places of real life.
The invitation for us is not to be passive observers of these wonders, but to learn to live in a posture of resonance with them, and see how Jesus is still at work in our everyday lives, performing miracles that expand our imagination and invite us into a deeper, more surrendered way of being.
