It’s pretty much a given that most of us would prefer to be our own gods than to worship God. It’s the original mistake. Every day we face the decision: do we tend to God’s creation or do we try and run it ourselves? One of the most famous stories in the Bible tells exactly how this works out. Jonah is no stranger to God. But, instead of following and obeying, he decides to take charge, and things get rough. You may be a lot more like Jonah than you think.
“What our church family does in 2022 may outlast everything we’ve ever been a part of. We are people that bring HOPE. Our priority in 2022 is to reach the next generation with the HOPE of Jesus. From local ministry to worldwide mission, we are going to make a tremendous Kingdom impact for the next generation.
Our HOPE FUND is an annual way that God will work through us to cast vision and HOPE out in big and exciting ways. Thank you for talking to God, stretching your imagination, and for giving sacrificially. “
When you give to AFA you are not giving TO the church, you are giving THROUGH the church. We are about so much more than keeping the lights on and paying a mortgage. Our heart is to impact the community around us for the Kingdom of God. So, when you give to AFA, you can know that you are a part of something bigger – a part of advancing the Kingdom of God.
