Looking for a summer experience that’s fun, faith-filled, and local? Join us at Summer Camp AFA for weeks of adventures, learning, and growing in faith!

Camp AFA Summer Day Camp is a fun-filled, action-packed program designed to keep kids, Kindergarten through 5^th grade, engaged and active during the summer months. Offering a wide range of activities such as arts and crafts, sports, swimming, team-building games, devotions, and nature exploration, Camp AFA provides a safe and supportive environment for children to learn new skills, make lasting friendships, and enjoy the outdoors. With experienced and caring staff, Camp AFA ensures a safe, memorable, and enriching summer experience.

CAMP DATES & WEEKLY THEMES

Week 1 (June 1 – 5): Summer Blast off
This week will kick off with big space fun! Campers will be engaged doing all things space. They will build their on rockets, explore stars and planets. We have a planned pop-up planetarium experience on site. An exciting week with loads of space activities and fun!

Week 2 (June 8 – 12): Water Week
Pool trip, water balloons, water relays, water dodgeball, sidewalk chalk fun, and popsicles! Bathing suit, towel and change of clothes needed.

Week 3 (June 15-19): Made for Summer
Made for summer celebrates sunny days and outdoor fun! This will include a foam play machine on site and a trip to the pool. Lots of fun things outside!

Week 4 (June 22 – 26): Cooking Week
This will be a fantastic week of learning recipes and cooking something every day! We will also be incorporating fun crafts, playground fun, and a trip roller skating at Sk8City!

Week 5 (June 29 -July 3): Farm & Field:
We are bringing the farm to camp this week. Campers will learn about planting, farming and animals. We will have a “farmer” that will talk to us on farming. Also, there will be an onsite petting zoo. Loads of fun!

Week 6 (July 6 – 10): Talent Show and Christmas in July Week:
Puppets, artwork, singing, dancing, acting, games, fun crafts, Talent Show, Christmas PJ’s, and to end the week we will have Jolly Jalopy on site.

Week 7 (July 13 – 17): Cooking Week
This will be a fantastic week of learning recipes and cooking something every day! We will also be incorporating fun crafts, playground fun, and a trip roller skating at Sk8City!

Week 8 (July 20 – 24): Off-site Camp at East Albemarle Elementary School
This will be and exciting week with a team leading the camp with all kinds of activities. We will end the week with Jolly Jalopy on site at AFA.

Week 9 (July 27 – July 31): Under the Sea Week
This week will wrap up our last week of camp for the summer. It will be a week of watery fun and ocean discoveries. We will have a mobile aquarium on site that will give us an up-close look at sea life! We will have a pool trip, and Jolly Jalopy will visit us to close out the week and summer!!

Time: 9am to 4pm
Location: Albemarle First Assembly
Cost: Total Camp cost is $150 a week (Includes $25 activity fee).

All Campers must pre-register with a non-refundable and nontransferable deposit of $50 for EACH week you choose. A two-week notice is REQUIRED to cancel. Deposits will be deducted from your weekly cost.

Who Can Join? This camp is for kids Kindergarten through 5th grade.
